London Fashion Week

One show which took the lion's share of the press at London Fashion Week was organised by Naomi Campbell. Fashion For Relief Haiti was a star packed catwalk show with Naomi calling on such famous faces as Kate Moss, Roisin Murphy and Eva Herzigova to model for the show.

As always, trends were spotted for 2010/2011 - everything from metallics to sequins, tribal prints, military and, bras being worn as outerwear. My faves were Burberry Prorsum and Ashish.

NYC Fashion Week

It is only natural that there is one designer dominating the news about NY Fashion Week. But, rather than dwell on the sad ending to Lee McQueen's life, I think we should celebrate the fashion which he loved and the world he was very much a part of.

SJP has become Creative Director of Halston, the Olsen twins wowed audiences with their simple and elegant line, fur and feathers were big as were menswear for women and military.

My favourite...? Elegant Posen.

London's best kept secret...until now

I was fortunate enough last week to be taken a great new bar for my work leaving drinks.

Finding Mark Hix's restaurant on Brewer Street takes some doing but once you find the grand entrance door which leads to an upstairs restaurant, you still need to make your way past the front desk and down the stairs to find where it is all really happening.

An impressive lounge bar greets you with the best people of Soho sipping away on whiskey and cocktails, whilst nibbling on the obligatory snack of pork crackling, crisp bread bread with smoked salmon mousse or the delicious rabbit fondue.

Old style classic bar with fantastic leather sofas and warm friendly staff, you can either sit with your date at the bar or lounge with friends around a table. Either way, get down there, pull up a pew and let the fun begin. Soho at its best.

Eye Eye Captain!

I have had a love for everything nautical since I was a child when my mother's infectious thirst for all things related to the sea was found splattered throughout my wardrobe.

From stripey tops to pedal pushers and pumps, here are just a few of of the nautical pieces... I like, I like, I like.
