Topshop has landed in NZ

Topshop is doing really well over here and everyone is eagerly awaiting more stock being sent over (ash cloud has caused delays). Wonder what everyone will make of the Mossy's new collection?

I am meanwhile getting my fashion fix via mag's sent from London by my every generous sister. NZ doesn't publish too many mag's of its own so the others I get are shipped in from Oz.

The more I read these mag's, the more aware I am of how expensive everything is over here. I always thought London was one of the most expensive cities in the world but that was before I moved to Auckland! Make up is especially expensive. I have been looking to get my usual touche eclat but it is nearly double the price here! It's $78 here whereas in the UK, it is around £21 (approx' $43). Crazy!

One good thing here fashion wise is Karen Walker - I love her designs.

Pressies galore

I have been missing my sister like so much since I have been in NZ so wanted to send her a piece of jewellery which she would treasure forever. I also wanted it to be a piece that when she looked at it, would remind her of me. What better than a Laura Lee ID bracelet with 'Loved' on it and our date of birth on the reverse of it. What made is even more special is that to make up for the fact that I had taken longer than normal to send it, they included a free gift of an initial necklance. Magical.
